weekly winners: in bloom
Last Sunday was a gorgeous day. I decided to go on a solo run around my neighborhood. I packed my point-and-shoot because I knew the trees were flowering!
Of course after a hot week, the flowers are just about done now. But they sure were beautiful while they lasted.

Gorgeous pics! I never take my camera while I’m running, I need to buy a running belt or something cause it annoys me in my pocket!

I don’t always bring my camera since of course it’s more comfortable without the running belt … but inevitably I’ll miss something great!

Amazing blooms! This white is much preferred over snow.

Thanks! Sometimes it looks like snow as the petals blow away …

Great pictures. The blossoms were pretty while they lasted, weren’t they?

It’s my favorite part of spring

What kind of tree is that? We have nothing that pretty here in Oklahoma (at least not in my neck of the woods)!
Love the pictures — can’t believe you were able to shoot such great quality with a point and shoot.

Thanks! They’re cherry blossoms — though not the famous trees in DC. Fortunately I can still see them closer to home!
