… the movement that’s stuck in my head (which I happen to know most of the words to) is *not* one of the ones that I need to have memorized …

it’ll be ok
I can probably come up with something better to write about, but I feel like I can’t just leave the Italian dilemma hanging …
It’s not 100% memorized, but it’ll be good enough as long as I can work out the kinks in a few places.
Most of it goes by really fast, and if you stumble on a syllable, you’re lost. Well, I’m lost.
At least I know it’s not just me, most people are struggling in one place or another. Hopefully the balance will work out and we don’t all have the same trouble spots!
memorizing italian …
I sing in a community chorale group.
For some reason, I’ve decided to volunteer to be an extra during the first act. It seems like it will involve a little bit of walking around, a lot of standing around looking interested in what’s going on, and singing. It is an opera, and it is in Italian.
We’ve been rehearsing for months, yet, I still do not know the words. I don’t know Italian, so nothing makes sense. (if it did, perhaps I’d be able to remember it?)
I’ve typed up the words for the parts we sing, and have a printout hanging to the right of my screen so I can stare at them while playing the recording.
I guess tonight (dress rehearsal) we’ll figure out what sticks! I pretty much know the music, but there may be a lot of mumbling!
why am i writing this?

I don’t really think I have anything interesting to say, or that anyone else would be interested in reading it.
I’ve known about NaNoWriMo and the idea seems really cool, I just don’t think I could pull it off. So, baby steps. We’ll see how this goes!
