Guess what I saw?

I was on my way home yesterday, and went past a supermarket. The Wienermobile was parked in the lot. I just had to stop!

In other auto news, I saw this the other day:

I think it’s a joke, because it doesn’t specify a county. But it was even more amusing since they had a real sticker about their kid from a local high school on the other side.

February 15-21, 2009

Saturday was the last half marathon training run. The majority of the class will be running our club’s half marathon on March 1. I’ll be volunteering at that race, but I’ll be running the Disney Princess Half Marathon the following week.

Training has gone well, and I’m feeling very prepared. As usual, we started our run from Jonas Green Park and headed up to the B&A; Trail.

It was chilly but sunny, and I decided to take some pictures from the park when I was finished with my 10 mile run.

February 8-14, 2009

Yesterday I volunteered at a Valentine’s Day 5K, held at the farm where I ran last weekend.

And while they were a bit far from the road, the sheep were out!

And then there was this guy.

Weird.

Earlier in the week, I decided it was necessary to get all of the salt washed of the car from the bad weather we had the week before …

And as always, I can’t resist taking portraits of my cat!

February 1-7, 2009

So last weekend, I spent a few days in New York City. Since I was out-of-town until late Sunday night, I couldn’t get Friday or Saturday’s pictures into my Weekly Winners. Check them out here!

I do have a couple from the last day of our trip to add for this week:

As we walked down the street after brunch, we noticed these dancers a few stories up.

Taken from across the street … a little tough to get a shot with no traffic or people!

Back to reality … I ran at Kinder Farm Park on Saturday. A few of us ran the course of a 5K that will be held there next weekend. I’m going to volunteer, but will get credit for the race as part of our club’s race series for participating in the workers’ run.

When we ran past this barn, there were sheep grazing. But they weren’t in the field anymore when we were done. I’m hoping they’ll be out when I’m there next week!

And finally, Jeter cat can get quite comfortable on my lap!
