weekly winners: sushi and sleepy cats

December 21-27, 2008

For years growing up, my family’s tradition was to go out for Chinese food on Christmas Eve. When our favorite restaurant closed, we switched to a different one. It was OK, but not the same.

When my parents found a nearby Japanese restaurant they liked, we started going there for Christmas Eve instead. My parents won’t eat sushi, but we sure do!

The only other photos I took this week were of sleeping kitties.

one last holiday concert

With the local choir (and various smaller groups pulled from the full chorus), I have performed 13 times since the day before Thanksgiving.

Some were large productions, some small caroling events, and a few Messiahs to top it off.

But before I give my vocal cords a break for the season, I had to squeeze one more in there. Check out the Third Annual Blogger Christmahanukwanzaakah Online Holiday Concert!

(To the other participants — thanks for stopping by! My Internet time will be limited for a few days but I’ll be sure to check you all out when I get a chance!)

Thanks to Neil, Citizen of the Month, for hosting!
