waterview

01/20/2007-01/26/2008

Part of our Saturday run was going to be along the water, and I decided to take my point-and-shoot along. It wasn’t too much trouble to stow the camera, so I’ll definitely do it again. Unfortunately, it was a bit cloudy and hazy. I’ll hope for better weather next time!

After I got home, I walked over to a nearby creek because I knew it was partly frozen. I thought there could be something interesting there.

That last one is my favorite.

And, the week wouldn’t be complete if I didn’t add a kitty photo. Here’s Posey:

Every time I looked, Jeter and Joey were doing something cute or funny. I had quite the photo shoot with the boys last night. Here are my favorites:

jeter sleeps

While taking the above shot of Jeter, Joey got into a bit of mischief:

oops, were you still drinking that?

Hey, buddy … I was drinking that! Later on, he joined Jeter on the couch:

double-decker cats

He’s mostly on the blanket; he’s not really sitting on Jeter.

buddies

Yes, Joey is much larger than Jeter. You can really see it here.

sweet boys

Aren’t they sweet?

I actually had taken some non-cat photos this week, but the were outshined by my goofballs!

tonight i went to the mall

I went shopping for my husband’s birthday, which is next week.

The result?

i went shopping ...

Yes, of course I went shopping for myself as well. But actually, only one bag is for me. The other two are for him. I think it’s pretty obvious which is which.

Sorry, ladies that aren’t shopping for a month or two! I only bought a skirt and a sweater. And I promise not to tell you how many pairs of shoes I bought last week!

Though … I have been on a bit of a shopping spree lately. I might have to cut myself off, too!

smelly cat

When I got home from rehearsal tonight, my husband told me about his night:

I was sitting in the basement listening to Concrete Blonde, and Joey [the song] started playing. Then Joey [the cat] came downstairs and sat down on my lap.

Then his leg twitched, and I smelled a fart.

It’s OK, Joey [speaking to the cat], I’m not angry anymore.*

I can fit!

* This won’t really make sense if you don’t know the song! But who doesn’t know the song?
