I am alive and well.

My house did not lose power. My DSL connection did not go down. I did not travel out of the country. I was not abducted by aliens.

I simply didn’t have anything to say.

Last night, I was about to go online and whip something up before leaving for a party, but I stopped myself.

I would have posted something lame like this:

Whew, almost didn’t get online to post today, since my husband was using the computer all day transferring music between his mp3 players and I was too lazy to turn on my laptop.

After running a mere eight miles this morning, I showered, ate lunch, and caught up on TV shows from my DVR all day. Then I made dinner. Now I’m going over to my friends’ house for a party.

Snore.

So I decided I would restrain myself. And everything is OK.

It didn’t kill me. I wasn’t obsessed by the fact that I hadn’t posted all night (though, it did cross my mind a couple times).

Besides, there will hopefully be a vacation in my near future that will pull me away from Internet access.

It’s good that I’ve already broken my daily posting streak so later on it won’t affect my relaxation!
