I’ve seen several bloggers participate in this project, but it started with Sweetney. She created a Self-Portrait Truthiness Flickr group for us to post honest photos of ourselves.

First thing in the morning. No make-up. No hairbrush. No shower.

I don’t know about you, but I’m not exactly a vision of beauty in the morning. Most days, I can’t even open my eyes until after I shower and/or wash my face — but that wasn’t allowed for this project.

You can tell I’m straining to pry my eyes open in the shot on the right. And yes, in keeping with the theme, I did not clean the smudges off the mirror before taking these!
