For years growing up, my family’s tradition was to go out for Chinese food on Christmas Eve. When our favorite restaurant closed, we switched to a different one. It was OK, but not the same.
When my parents found a nearby Japanese restaurant they liked, we started going there for Christmas Eve instead. My parents won’t eat sushi, but we sure do!

Love, love, love all of these shots. The sushi looks so yummy. I had to laugh because I kind of randomly decided we’d start a sushi for Christmas Eve tradition here, too, but the place where I ordered was really not so yummy. Next year, same tradition but a new sushi place.

I don't "do" sushi (or any seafood for that matter) but the way it's arranged on the platter is very pretty. &heart; ♥ ♥ the pics of Jeter & Posey~so cute! Happy New Year 🙂
