Currently this is hanging on the sliding glass door in our kitchen:

They sometimes decide to make their webs across our door frames. This guy took residence across the back door for a few days, thus the warning sign:
Since he feeds our “stray” Meadow every morning, my husband unfortunately walked through a web one morning this week. At least the spider was gone!

I know some are freaked out by spiders, but their webs really are just cool. Also, I am madly in love with your cats, especially as a pair like in the last one. Too sweet!
I love the sign on the door. We will be needing one of those soon too. The Golden Orbs come in the late Spring.

Scary pictures today! Luckily my boys who are generally anti-spider joined me toward the end to enjoy the cats!
Hey did you take those pictures of the spiders in Kentucky? 🙂 I’ve got creepy ones too… and screamed like a girl when I saw one actually JUMP. Their webs are so much stronger than the spiders back in NY. It’s like they have elastic in their silk…

LOL! They are all great and I’m sorry but the first one is my favorite. I would have taken a photo of that sign too. Just seeing that photo 20 years from now will bring back so many memories of the numerous spiders for you and the necessity of putting the sign up!

Ewww nothing as icky as walking through a full spider web. You never feel like you get it all off.
