Blogger Bossy had this crazy idea to drive across the country and visit as many readers as she could. She named it “Bossy’s Excellent Road Trip,” and hundreds of readers signed up to be a part of the tour.

Obviously, she couldn’t reach everybody in her (yikes!) 35-day trip. But she’s done a darn good job trying!

First stop — Washington, DC. Well, technically, we met for drinks in Arlington, VA. A little out of the way for me, but hey, how many chances do you get to be a part of blog history?

I’m pretty sure Bossy’s Excellent Road Trip will go down in blog history.

Anyway, it was a fun night!

We chatted. We drank (not to much, it was a school night!). We ordered one of everything from the 1/2 price appetizers menu (two orders of the fried pickles. yum!), evidence seen below.
