little stinker

Last year, I wrote about how Jeter cat likes to cause a ruckus in the mornings, usually on weekends when we try to sleep in.

Sure, I can feed him and go back to sleep, but it’s nice to stay snug in bed!

Lately, he’s been poking around before I get up to run on Saturdays. It is always still earlier than his normal breakfast time.

And sometimes, he gets into trouble during the week. A week or so ago, I was awake, already in the shower. My husband was trying to catch a few more minutes of sleep.

When I got out of the shower, this is what I found:

jeter caught red handed

The hair bands came out of this basket, where he would have had to dig for them. I try to hide them under things to prevent the above from happening, but obviously the only solution is to stop putting them in the basket.

Of course, then he’ll figure out a new way to be a nuisance!
